How to measure your foot size?
Forget about imprecisely holding a tape measure to your foot, or inaccurately tracing the outline of your foot on paper and measuring it afterward. All of these methods are very imprecise and can actually throw off your true size by as much as 2 sizes.
For an accurate measurement you will need a wall or stairs, paper, something to write with, and a ruler or tape measure. An alternative to a writing tool is chalk, for which you do not need paper.
Procedure:
1) Find suitable stairs or a wall (we recommend stairs for convenience).
2) Place the paper on the floor at the bottom of the stairs so that it is pushed right up against the step (or wall).
3) Stand on the paper so that your heel is pressed directly against the step (or wall).
4) At the farthest point your foot reaches (big toe or second toe), draw a line directly in front of the toe with a pen/pencil.
5) Remove the paper from under your foot.
6) Using a ruler or tape measure, measure the distance from the edge of the paper (which was against the wall/step) to the drawn line.
7) Add 5 mm (0.5 cm) to the measured distance.
8) Compare the result from step 7 in the size chart to find out your correct shoe size.
